Frank’s Auto Supermarket was the first Uniontown business to complete a Façade Challenge Grant application. The project was Rick Frank’s contribution to the greening of Uniontown. Renovations included the installation of a custom fabricated panel surrounding glass block windows on the front of the store. The project was designed to significantly reduce penetrating sunlight resulting in lower summer cooling costs and energy efficiency in the cold winter months.
